Job Description :
Being an Associate is a crucial role here at BidFTA. They are responsible for creating a memorable experience by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe and clean environment that encourages our bidders to return. Accuracy and efficiency are the cornerstones of our success as a business and being an Associate is one of the best ways to start out here at BidFTA. This position requires somebody who has a desire to directly impact the success of a business with their exceptional customer service, work ethic, and attention to detail. We're a fast paced but casual work environment that's moving into a new growth stage! We are looking for people who are excited and passionate about the work they do and the team they are apart of!
Hours:
- 9:45AM-6:15PM Monday-Friday
- 7:15AM-3:45PM Monday - Friday
There are different shifts for the different roles we have. We will find what area fits you best!
Job Duties :
- Welcome and answer customer questions about the auction pick up process.
- Prepare for auction pickup by down stacking pallets and organizing items accordingly.
- Offer friendly assistance to customers that need help locating their items.
- Perform customer checkout procedures accurately in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Lot product: photograph, grade, and confirm accurate description of items.
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Friendly and helpful, always remaining respectful and courteous
- Willingness to engage with customers
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast paced environment
- Detailed oriented pertaining to all assigned duties
- Ability to work quickly and effectively to meet deadlines
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Proven history of strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn new things
- Adaptability to change
- Technological literacy - Experience using an IOS device (IPAD) is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment - Non temperature-controlled environment, lifting items/boxes overhead, standing for extended periods of time, squatting, ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
- Ensuring items being checked out are accurate
- Ability to use handheld scanner. Training will be provided.
- Consistency and punctuality for attendance is a must.
Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
