Responsibilities
- Provide individualized nursing care—administering medications, monitoring health status, documenting observations, and supporting daily living needs while supervising nursing assistants on the unit.
- Maintain accurate medical records, process orders, manage documentation, and support admission and discharge processes with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Contribute to care planning by updating care plans, participating in care conferences, and ensuring effective communication among residents, families, and the healthcare team.
- Support team performance by assisting with training, guiding paraprofessional staff, promoting a positive work environment, and demonstrating strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ensure safety and compliance by following infection control and emergency procedures, participating in surveys and QAPI initiatives, and offering ideas for process and quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Must possess a clear unencumbered license from the State of Colorado as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
- Knowledge of the aging process, dementia, and disabilities highly required.
- Experience in the geriatric population in a long-term care facility, assisted living facility, or other related healthcare facility highly preferred.

Pay: $27.00 - $45.00 per hour
