Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Nursing by supervising CNAs, providing clinical education, conducting performance reviews, and managing disciplinary actions when needed.
- Foster positive, professional relationships with residents, families, staff, and physicians while promoting a multidisciplinary, high-quality care environment.
- Oversee clinical quality by monitoring nursing competencies, tracking wound/pressure ulcer data, ensuring policy compliance, and driving improvement initiatives.
- Manage key clinical functions, including evaluations, admissions/discharges, lab monitoring, and immunization programs (flu, pneumonia, TB).
- Maintain regulatory compliance by updating policies, staying current on long-term care trends, participating in Medicare/IDT and committee meetings, and supporting Quality Improvement reporting.
Qualifications
- Possess a clear unencumbered license from the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
- Proven experience in nursing leadership roles within assisted living facilities, nursing homes, home health agencies, or hospice organizations preferred.
- 1 years of related experience and/or training.
- Knowledge of the aging process, dementia, and disabilities preferred.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
