Position Summary
The Industrial Paint Technician is responsible for preparing, painting, finishing, and inspecting vehicles to ensure high-quality standards are met. This role requires attention to detail, technical painting knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix paint and related supplies to achieve precise color matching
- Wet sand, buff, and prime vehicle surfaces
- Prep vehicles including taping, masking, and scuffing
- Stage and paint vehicles in designated paint areas
- Load and operate paint booth equipment
- Order and maintain paint and detailing supplies
- Inspect quality of completed units
- Maintain and detail built units prior to shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Collaborate effectively with team members across production
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Proven automotive paint experience required
- Strong colormatching knowledge
- Experience with body work and detailing
- Automotive repair experience preferred
- High attention to detail and quality
- Positive attitude and selfstarter mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license required
- High school diploma or GED required
