What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vehicle Grinder position at Columbia Vehicle Group?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Grind and sand metal surfaces to prepare products for paint, or powder coat.
- Experience with wet paint or powder prep is a plus. If no experience, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be willing to rotate to different workstations as production needs require.
- Read and follow work instructions.
- Ability to navigate computer systems to look up work instructions, cross reference part numbers, check inventory, and reference production tables.
- Constantly lift and/or move to up 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours per day.
Monday through Thursday with overtime possible on Friday and Saturday.
