Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) is a federally qualified health center providing comprehensive patient-centered primary care services for all ages and incomes with locations in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, and Chelan Washington. CVCH is a modern, well-equipped Community Health Center, where we practice the science of medicine as a team, and the art of medicine as individuals.
We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Family Medicine physician with OB and C-section skills at our Chelan location. Our Chelan site is staffed with 4 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Provider’s. Full time is 4, 8-hour clinic days per week. Inpatient and OB call is shared with the other practice in town and averages every 5th night. Our Chelan site is home to a Family Medicine residency rural-training track and resident teaching is an integral part of the position.
Chelan is a destination resort town at the foot of a 50-mile mountain lake, surrounded by vineyards and mountains, with hot dry summers and snowy winters. The population of Chelan and the surrounding communities is 8,000, which swells to 20,000 on any given day during the summer. We are a 3-hour drive from Seattle and Spokane with airline service in Wenatchee, 45 minutes away.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited allopathic or osteopathic medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy. Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified. If a new graduate, board certification must be obtained within two years of employment. Providers participating in the OB track must meet residency training requirements, including a minimum of 80 documented delivery experiences. Our practice does not perform cesarean sections; providers participate in assisting with cesarean deliveries as part of collaborative care.
- Certification/Licensure: Must possess a current, valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Washington or eligible to obtain licensure. Must have a valid DEA license. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. ACLS or ATLS may be used to substitute for BLS.
- Experience: No prior experience is required. Experience working in a community health center or managed care environment preferred. Experience in delivering services to medically underserved populations preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Surgical obstetrical skills required.
