Position Summary
Reporting to the Resident Manager, the Houseworker will be responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping duties in the building.
Responsibilities
- Delivers linen, blankets, pillows, and in-room amenities to guest rooms
- Washes linen, prepares guest beds, and properly arranges amenities
- Retrieves used linens from guest rooms
- Freshens bathroom areas and removes garbage
- Launders, counts, and sorts linen
- Organizes and cleans linen rooms and work areas
- Operates linen exchange tables and prepares room status reports
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent required
- Flexible work schedule with weekend, late night, and early morning required
- Must be able to perform tasks independently with great attention to detail
- Must have ability to provide excellent hospitality services and ability to communicate pleasantly with staff and visitors
- Must have ability to work with a diverse group of people is required
- Some heavy lifting may be required
