Aggregate/Bulk Freight Sales Representative
Columbia Quarry Co., is currently seeking a qualified Aggregate/Bulk Freight Salesperson to sell dry bulk transportation, aggregate, and trans-loading for our Truck Company, Quarries, and River Terminals throughout the Midwest.
Responsibilities:
· Customer-focused in order to meet customer needs through effective communication, problem-solving, and service quality improvements
· Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, client outreach, and relationship building
· Monitor sales performance to create reports and provide information and recommendations to senior leadership
· Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies as needed
· Work closely with operations and service teams to ensure seamless execution of bulk transportation and aggregate sales
Requirements:
· Business and/or related sales experience
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Effective analytical and decision-making skills
· Strong work ethic and professional demeanor and appearance
· Great can-do attitude
· Experience in the truck industry and/or bulk freight and transportation
· Experience in limestone and hard rock aggregate sales preferred; however, sales experience in construction or industrial related industries will be considered
· Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
