Physical Therapist Assistant Job SummaryWe are seeking a caring physical therapist assistant to join our growing clinic. This individual would act as our patients' partner and advocate on their road to recovery, from diagnosis to the completion of rehabilitation. We are searching for a physical therapist assistant looking for an opportunity with incentives to grow their career.We are recently expanded and remodeled in our Kennewick office. Physical Therapist Assistant Duties and Responsibilities· Meet with patients and identify needs and goals· Exercise personal judgment (i.e., make modifications as needed) during treatment execution to ensure patient safety and continued progress· Motivate and encourage patients throughout treatment process· Assist PTs to develop detailed exercise techniques, stretches, and self-care programs for patients and family to complete between sessions· Evaluate effects of therapy and keep detailed records of patient appointments and progress in a timely manner· Communicate with patients' physicians regularly to ensure consistent care· Communicate with patients, caregivers and their families regarding the patient’s progress· Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations· Maintain patient confidentialityPhysical Therapist Assistant Requirements and Qualifications· Proven work ethic and dedication to patient care throughout the recovery process· Ability to communicate and adapt to different patients and personalities· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written· A high level of professionalism and personal ethics· A thorough knowledge of current treatment practices· A valid license to practice physical therapy· CPR and first aid certification a plus Company Benefits· Competitive Wage· Generous time off policy· Generous continuing education policy (APTA dues/Medbridge dues/license renewal)· Health care stipend· Profit sharing opportunities· 401k contributions without employee contribution· $8,000 sign on bonusFlexible schedule if desiredE04JI8002eoj4085cku
