Position Summary
Columbia Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide counseling services to children, adolescents, and their families. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, skilled in family-centered care, and excited to collaborate within a multidisciplinary pediatric team. This would ideally be part time at our Vancouver office.
This role offers the opportunity to develop and grow a pediatric counseling program while working alongside Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists to support children's emotional, behavioral, developmental, and social-emotional needs.

Essential Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling services for children and adolescents ages 2–18.
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Play Therapy
- Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
- Solution-Focused Therapy
- Trauma-Informed Care
- Family Systems approaches
- Support children experiencing:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Emotional regulation challenges
- ADHD
- Autism-related social-emotional concerns
- Behavioral challenges
- School-related difficulties
- Life transitions and adjustment issues
- Provide parent coaching and caregiver education.
- Collaborate closely with speech and occupational therapists to support whole-child development.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Coordinate care with physicians, schools, educators, and community providers when appropriate.
- Comply with HIPAA and all applicable state and federal regulations.
Required
- Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field.
- Current Oregon and/or Washington licensure as:
- LCSW
- LMFT
- Experience providing counseling services to children and families.
- Knowledge of child development and family systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Experience in pediatric outpatient settings.
- Training in play therapy.
- Experience working with neurodivergent children, including autism and ADHD.
- Experience providing parent coaching.
