Summary: This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of planning with warehouse operations, including forklift operation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling both planning and warehouse tasks efficiently and independently.
Planning Responsibilities:
• Generate and maintain work orders in coordination with purchasing and assembly
• Manage shortage reports and communicate internally
• Evaluate demand forecasts and adjust production plans accordingly.
• Assist in developing and implementing inventory control strategies to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.

Warehouse Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
• Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy, and organize products in the warehouse.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for outbound shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist with shipping and receiving documentation as needed.

Knowledge, skills and/or abilities:
Knowledge-
Software
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, etc.)
• ERP Software (M3 preferred)
Skills
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Prior experience with inventory control and optimization
• Proven experience as a Planner or in a similar planning role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in both planning and warehouse tasks.
Equipment Operation
• Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift desirable
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to forklift operation.
Abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 20 lbs.
• Superior attention to detail
Education and/or Experience:
• High school Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of experience
