Ph.D, Psy.D and New York State eligible for limited permit license

Experience:

Completion of Doctorate Degree and pre-doctoral clinical internship related to
duties and responsibilities specified.
Testing experience preferred but not required.

Summary:

Diagnose and treat a range of psychological disorders utilizing evidence- based
interventions and strategies for adults, couples, children and families seeking
evaluation and ongoing treatment, under guidance and supervision of a licensed
Psychologist.
May be assigned to provide mental health services in a variety of settings that
could include Inpatient Psychiatric unit, Intensive Outpatient Program, nursing
homes, physician practices, school settings, and other settings appropriate for
mental health service delivery.
Demonstrated ability to utilize knowledge of principals, methods and practices
of a psychologist; the ability to make sound clinical decisions, to work
cooperatively and effectively with professional colleagues, both internal and
external; to maintain high quality and timely documentation of clinical work.
Potential opportunity to perform psychological evaluations using a range of
psychometric tools under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist.

Salary Range: $24.00 – $37.87
