POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs the functions of an Office Medical Tech in carrying out assignments by
the nurse or manager in charge of the office. Is accountable for all patient
care he/she is assigned to during the office hours. Will assist the staff in
the care and treatment of the patient within the parameters of the position,
and in the completion of general office duties.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent, medical assistant training a plus.
Experience:
Knowledge of lab drawing and processing, medical office billing, office
scheduling and appointment making preferred. Must be able to read, write and
understand the written word, and follow written and verbal instructions.
Experience in interviewing of patients and the taking of vital signs preferred.
Salary Range: $18.95 – $18.95
