They move incoming material to the proper locations within the facility and retrieve necessary items for outgoing shipments. Their efforts are essential to proper storage within the warehouse and accurate order fulfillment to customers.

Summary:
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for assisting with shipments coming in and out of warehouse. Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Basic understanding of parts identification with print reading
- Operate and power industrial trucks PIT
- Stage parts appropriately for all destinations
- Maintains inventory accuracy by following standard control practices
- Assists with cycle counting
- Utilize basic computer and system inquiries (various Movex programs) for allocations, material planning, on hand balances, etc.
- Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills And/or Abilities:
Knowledge-
- LEAN Principles
- Basic parts identification
- Ability to ready a tape measure to 1/16 inch
- Basic computer skills for part picking
- Basic system inquiries (various Movex programs): allocations, material planning, on hand balances, etc.
- Ability to stage parts appropriately
- High attention to detail for inventory accuracy
- Ability to operate carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts
- Ability to understand and work to priorities
- Ability to learn multiple functions within warehouse department (Receiving, picking, putaway, etc.)
- Ability to foster and work within a team environment
- Actively participates in safety programs and comply with all safety policies
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Maintains a clean and safe work area
- Demonstrates the qualities of a “Team Player” by accepting new responsibilities and filling in for other employees when needed
- Displays attention to detail and consistently follow Standard Work Instructions when completing tasks
- Communicates effectively with peers, supervisor, customers, vendors, and other departments
- Actively participate in 6S and other Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts
- Self-motivated and has the ability to work with supervision
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of experience preferred
