Vacancy Announcement - Mechanic - Transportation Department
APPOINTMENT DATE: June 1, 2026
QUALIFICATIONS: Mechanic must hold ASE certification and have the knowledge to diagnose problems and repair school buses. Mechanic must hold a School Bus Driver license validation or have the ability to acquire the same within one calendar year.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Within the approved limits of Board policy as delineated by the Transportation Supervisor, the Mechanic is responsible for duties as outlined by the job description as well as duties as designated by the Transportation Supervisor.
HOURS: 8 hours per day
SALARY: $27.01 - $38.89 per hour; Range based on years of service per negotiated agreement
