Day Custodian - Columbia Local Schools K-8 Building

Vacancy Announcement Day Custodian – K-8 Building CONTRACT: Full-time, 260 day contract. APPOINTMENT: Immediate HOURS: 8 hours per day; 6:00 am – 2:00 pm SALARY: Per negotiated agreement BROAD FUNCTION: The custodian manages his/her position in such a way that his/her goals and objectives support and amplify the goals of the school district. The job goal is to assist the employees with a safe, attractive, comfortable, and clean place in which to work. QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate; General knowledge of electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, cleaning and basic maintenance Able to operate all machinery and tools needed to complete cleaning and maintenance of building; Willing to learn and use new techniques and skills in the performance of the job.
