What are the responsibilities and job description for the Houseman – The Tiger Hotel position at Columbia Hospitality Management?
The Houseman is essential to maintaining the overall cleanliness and presentation of the hotel. You will support both the housekeeping and bellman teams to ensure all public and private areas meet 4-Diamond standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning: Maintain bathrooms, lobbies, elevators, exercise rooms, and restaurant spaces (Glenn's, Vault, etc.).
- Guest Support: Replenish room supplies, handle guest concerns, and assist with bellman duties.
- Labor: Move furniture for deep cleaning; assist housekeeping with laundry removal.
- Standards: Ensure all work areas and common spaces are spotlessly maintained.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Commitment to maintaining a high-standard, clean environment.

- Hours: 7am–3pm or 3pm–11pm (includes weekends).
