Overview:
The Softball Coach is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading practices and games to help student-athletes develop skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude. Teach hitting, fielding, pitching, and game strategies while fostering teamwork, skill development, and safety.
Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct regular practices.

Teach fundamental softball skills, strategies, and rules.

Promote teamwork, respect, and good sportsmanship.

Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and travel.

Communicate with athletic director, school administration, players, and families.

Ensure player safety through proper instruction and monitoring.

Manage equipment and uniforms as assigned.

Follow all school district and athletics program policies and guidelines.
Qualifications:

Prior experience playing or coaching softball preferred.
