Must be an experienced forklift operator. Able to operate the forklift efficiently and safely in a production setting. This position requires you to follow written and verbal job instructions. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensures other employees have everything they need at their workstations throughout the day to perform their job duties.
- Move stacks of pallets in and out of building.
- Assist any other forklift operators when needed.
- Load and unload dry van trailers.
- Frequent lifting and bending of nothing more than 40 lbs.
- Ability of standing and walk for extended periods of time.
- The work environment consists of occasional extreme temperature shifts ranging from very cold to very hot.
- Exposure to dust and loud noise (hearing protection is provided).
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving forklifts.
- Monday – Friday 7am until at least 3pm sometimes later, sometimes earlier
- Some Saturday work may be required
