What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility (2nd Shift) position at Columbia Forest Products and Careers?
Successful candidates for this Utility position in our Gluing Department is a person who likes variety and learning multiple processes. This person must be an experienced forklift operator. Able to operate the forklift efficiently and safely in a production setting. You will be cross trained to perform several processes within our Gluing Department including spreader, press, glue mixing and forklift. This position requires you to follow written and verbal job instructions. Being able to provide feedback and apply critical thinking are other keys to this position. Employees must be able to use personal safety equipment while working in a manufacturing environment that includes moving machinery, fast paced fork lift traffic, machine noise, and a work environment that will vary depending on the time of the year.
