What are the responsibilities and job description for the JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN Columbia Electric (Seattle) position at Columbia Electric?
Tired of a rigid schedule or maintenance calls and stuck in traffic? This could be the perfect summer gig — and if it clicks, there's plenty of work to keep you busy well beyond the season. We need a skilled, self-sufficient electrician who gets the job done right and fast, then enjoys the long weekends and time off they've earned. 3-day weekends, spontaneous road trips, hunting season, camping trips. We don't care what you do with your time off, as long as the work is dialed in when you're on the clock. Show us what you've got this summer and there's a real path to steady, long-term work with a crew that respects your time.
The work will mostly be lighting retrofits in schools, warehouses, and office buildings. You will be hired by Columbia Electric based out of Wenatchee, but mostly work in Western Washington for partner company West Ridge Energy.
What we're looking for:
- Valid WA Journeyman Electrician license
- Solid experience with commercial & residential lighting
- Self-sufficient — you don't need to be managed
- Reliable, fast, and quality-focused
- Comfortable working independently
- Clean driving record, willing to travel to eastern WA as needed
- Own tools, professional attitude
What you get:
- $65/hour or piece rate per light fixture installed — whichever works best for you
- Steady local work in western Washington
- Travel compensation for eastern WA jobs
- Flexible scheduling — work the hours that suit you, as long as the job gets done
- Unlimited time off — we treat you like a professional
- No micromanagement
Pay: From $65.00 per hour
People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
Work Location: In person
Salary : $65
