Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Transit Department Assistant to support our transit department with back-up coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate buses and ensure the safety and well-being of passengers
- Participate in pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintain a clean and comfortable environment
- Respond to passenger inquiries and provide excellent customer service
Requirements: A valid Oregon driver's license, Class B or C Commercial Driver's License, and previous transportation experience in the public sector are preferred.
