Looking for a rewarding part-time job in animal welfare with a non-profit? Become an Animal Caregiver! CCHS is seeking a dependable, motivated self-starter for a part-time position. Duties include but are not limited to cleaning animal enclosures, handling animals with different temperaments, and working with disinfecting solutions. This role involves both indoor and outdoor tasks in all weather conditions. Lifting, bending, kneeling, and walking strong dogs is a possibility.
The starting wage is $14.00/hr for approximately 25 hours per week. Flexibility is a must, and some on-call duties for stray pick-up may be included. Pre-employment drug testing, a valid Wisconsin driver’s license with a clean driving record is required, and candidates must be insurable through our auto insurance. Lifting 50lbs or more may be necessary. Work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays is expected, as animals require care year-round.
