Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shifts

Location: Dayton General Hospital – Acute Care and/or Emergency Department; Dayton, WA

Schedule: Nights

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Dayton General Hospital to provide exceptional care in the Acute Care and/or Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will be flexible, team-oriented, and able to respond effectively in critical situations, all while embracing the unique challenges and rewards of working in a rural community.

What We Offer

• Status: Full-time
• Schedule: Flexible; Nights (6:45pm – 7:15am)
• Compensation:
• • Acute Care only: $5,860.80 - $10,137.6 monthly (includes a 10% per diem increase)
  • Emergency Department: $6,177.60 - $11,088 monthly (includes a 10% per diem increase)
• Sign-on bonus: $7,500
• Shift differentials for Lead, Nights, Weekends, Preceptor, Call Back
• If working in the Emergency Department, floating to the Acute Care Unit is required
• Supportive team environment in a community hospital setting

Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license; or active Multi-State License
• Current ACLS required for Acute Care only, PALS and TNCC required for ED
• BLS certification every 2 years

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Acute Care and/or Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and assist with patient admissions.
• Document patient information in the EHR.
• Respond promptly to emergencies.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care.
• Check and maintain equipment and supplies in the ED.
• Lead or assist in trauma and code situations.
• Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and strong clinical judgment.
• Complete additional duties as assigned to support department operations.
