Location: Berwick, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–2:30 PM, as needed
Program Year: August–June
Position Type: Part-time, Non-Exempt
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare, cook, and portion nutritious meals for children.
- Serve meals to classrooms with care and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.
- Order food and supplies when needed during your substitution timeframe.
- Foster positive relationships with staff and children, following the principles of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Communicate clearly in person and over the phone.

Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, OR, an eighth-grade education and two years of experience in a related field.
- Preferably have had direct experience working with young children.
- Must possess a valid PA driver’s license.
