Position Description

POSITION TITLE:     Bilingual Instructional Aide        

F.L.S.A.                      Non-Exempt    

Primary Purpose:

Assist teachers in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under supervision of certified teacher.  Able to understand and speak both English and Spanish. 

Qualifications:  

Education/Certification:

High school diploma or GED

Valid Texas educational aide certificate

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to work well with children

Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish 

Experience:

Some experience working with children
