Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician with HVAC certification to join our apartment community maintenance team. This position plays a key role in ensuring resident comfort, safety, and overall property appearance. . As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to keep operations running smoothly. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help prevent downtime and extend the lifespan of vital equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in apartment units
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC-related issues
- Complete daily grounds clean-up, including trash removal and maintaining curb appeal
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance in units and common areas
- Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare units for move-ins and turnovers
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Follow all safety procedures and property standards
Skills
- Valid HVAC Certification (required)
- Previous maintenance experience in apartment or residential communities preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
