Innovation & UX Specialist

ROLE PURPOSE: Ensures the day-to-day support of Coltrane Hyde projects via designing responsive wireframes for software, platforms and products. This role also supports and coordinates project resources.

ROLE FUNCTIONS

• Conducts user research and testing
• Develops wireframes and task flows based on project needs
• Collaborates with designers and developers to create intuitive, user-friendly prototypes and products
• Organizes, schedules meetings and appointments for the Founder & CEO
• Develops and maintains contact lists
• Researches and creates presentations
• Develops content and deliverables for focus groups, early adopters, engagement partners, and projects
• Supports project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation
• Ensures resource availability and allocation internally and externally
• Coordinates project resources for flawless execution of projects
• Proficient using software, including Keynote, Numbers, Excel as well as presentation and design software

• Understand product specifications and user psychology
• Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
• Create personas through user research and data
• Define the right interaction models and evaluate its success
• Develop wireframes and prototypes around project needs
• Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
• Ability to identify issues quickly and find the most efficient ways to mitigate them
• An analytical mind, someone who can pinpoint problems and research smart and effective ways to deal with them
• Both analytical and creative with ideas - critically tailoring cutting edge ideas to suit the project
• Organized and enjoys multi-tasking
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in technology or related field
• Excellent client facing and internal communication skills

KEY BACKGROUND ATTRIBUTES

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college-level course work in Computer Science, Design English, or related area.
• Proficient in design software
• Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; Javascript is a plus
• Experience performing the duties described above
• Team player
• Proficient computer skills, Apple products and design software (keynote, numbers, pages, Figma, UXPin, Proto io)
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communications skills
• Abide by all non-compete/solicit agreement

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $100.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Regular sanitizing of common area surfaces, on-site rapid covid tests available

• Atlanta, GA 30318: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• UI: 2 years (Preferred)
• UX: 2 years (Preferred)
