What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at Colton's Steak House & Grill?
Our restaurant is seeking a Busser to join our team of dedicated servers and bartenders. The Busser is responsible for completing all tasks assigned to him/her, including setting tables, clearing dishes and trays, refilling drink glasses and transporting dirty dishware/utensils to the dishwashing station. We are looking for a hard-working and energetic individual who is focused on providing friendly service at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Use bussing station correctly.
- Maintain appropriate posture when holding plates.
- Cover table with correct number of silverware and napkins.
- Respond to all guest needs in a timely manner.
- Recognize and react to drop-off orders and take them to appropriate stations.
- Read and interpret tickets; operate cash register; respond to customer; operate food portioning devices; use fire extinguisher; respond to emergencies; receive portions from cook line.
Job Type: Part-time
