Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on trailers
- Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including, suspension, brakes, hydraulics, shocks, and air brake systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to assemble, repair, or modify trailer components
- Troubleshoot electrical issues related to vehicle systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements with precision.
- Conduct tire service, wheel alignments, and suspension adjustments to uphold safety standards.
- Follow schematics and technical manuals meticulously for accurate repairs and maintenance procedures.
Experience
- Skilled in welding, fabrication, soldering, and the use of hand tools for equipment repair and assembly.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures for farm machinery or industrial equipment is a plus.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately for complex repairs.
- Prior service technician experience with a focus on trailer systems is highly desirable.
