Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and backhoes, in construction or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in accordance with company and MSHA safety standards.
- Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on machinery.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling tasks.
- Communicate with site supervisors and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
