Overview
COLT Consulting is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled licensed Physician to collaborate with our multidisciplinary team in providing comprehensive autism evaluations. The physician will review the findings of the ADOS-2 and interdisciplinary assessment process and provide the final clinical evaluation and diagnostic determination for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as appropriate.

Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive clinical evaluation of children referred for suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Review and integrate finding from the interdisciplinary autism evaluation, including ADOS-2 results and other standardized assessment measures.
- Review developmental, medical, behavioral, educational, and psychosocial history.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case review with BCBA, SLP, and other evaluation team members.
- Provide clinical interpretation of the child's developmental and behavioral presentation
- Determine whether the child meets DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder, when appropriate.
- Consider and evaluate for differential diagnoses and co-occurring conditions that may contribute to the child's presentation
- Provide the final medical/clinical diagnostic determination based on the comprehensive evaluation and available clinical evidence.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD)
- Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license
- Board certification of board eligibility in an appropriate specialty, such as: developmental-behavioral pediatrics, pediatrics, child and adolescent psychiatry, psychiatry, neurology/child neurology
- Demonstrates knowledge of DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria for ASD and related neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Ability to interpret ADOS-2 results
Pay: $350.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 3.0 per week
