- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
- Lead projects focused on process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new technology implementation.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and manufacturing staff on best practices and technical skills.
- Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to enhance productivity and quality.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in injection molding technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, specifically in injection molding.
- Strong understanding of injection molding processes, materials, and equipment.
- Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
