Manufacturing Buyer - Planner

Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain purchasing plans to support production schedules and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
• Utilize ERP software to manage inventory, track orders, and analyze purchasing trends.
• Forecast demand and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly to minimize excess inventory.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and delivery terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and inventory status to management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in production optimization and scheduling.
