Colquitt Regional Senior Care & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, highly skilled, and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. Our facility is a 59-bed skilled nursing center that provides exceptional short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and specialized medical support for older adults in a warm and patient-centered environment.
As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with experienced physical and occupational therapy staff, nursing, and other health care providers to deliver high-quality, individualized care.
- Complies with and follows treatment program established by the Physical Therapist.
- Conducts objective clinical testing.
- Assists in gathering data during tests and measurements. Immediately reports all patient changes, unexpected responses, problems to the assigned Physical Therapist before modifying a treatment program.
- Documents patient treatments performed daily including progress notes on inpatients and outpatients. Supervises supportive personnel.
- Gives direction to aides and volunteers who may be assisting in patient care.
- Provides patient and family education and gives instructions that are clear and complete.

Qualifications
- Current and Active Physical Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in the State of Georgia
- Associates or better in Physical Therapy.
- BLS Certification
- Strong clinical reasoning skills with a passion for patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Commitment to professional growth and advancing clinical expertise.
