Medical Assistant-172 Sterling Group Adult and Pediatric Medicine

The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing both clinical and administrative support to physicians and advanced practice providers in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting. Duties include greeting and rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, medical histories, medications, and chief complaints, preparing patients for examinations and procedures, administering injections and vaccines as directed, performing basic laboratory testing, and assisting with patient education. Additional responsibilities include processing prescription refill requests, coordinating referrals and follow-up appointments, maintaining accurate electronic medical records, managing clinical supplies, and ensuring exam rooms are properly stocked and prepared. The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with providers and staff to promote efficient clinic operations, exceptional customer service, and high-quality patient care.
