Experienced Painter

Duties

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Execute precise painting using hand tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and power tools across various projects including residential remodels, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities.
• Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope, color schemes based on color theory principles, and specific finishing requirements.
• Perform detailed trim carpentry, fixture installation, stucco application, masonry work, and concrete finishing as needed for comprehensive renovation projects.
• Manage construction site tasks such as framing, drywall installation, restoration work, and maintenance activities to support project completion.
• Utilize construction estimating skills to assess material needs and ensure efficient project execution while maintaining safety protocols on-site.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met or exceeded while adhering to schematics and technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, or industrial painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, welding equipment, and other relevant construction tools.
• Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with plastering, caulking techniques, trim carpentry (including framing), stucco application, masonry work, and concrete finishing.
• Hands-on experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately while applying color theory principles for aesthetic consistency.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
