Duties
- Provide attentive care to children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times through vigilant supervision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by applying inclusive caregiving practices and working closely with families and specialists.
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, potty training, nap times, and outdoor play.
- Use behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of children's progress, routines, and any incidents while communicating regularly with parents or guardians.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, or nannying is highly valued.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure immediate response to emergencies.
- Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including infant care routines and toddler care strategies.
- Strong skills in teaching, behavior management, and classroom experience are desirable.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities by applying inclusive caregiving practices.
