The Finance Director - NALAN oversees the Finance organization for the North America and Latin America North (NALAN) regions at Colorcon, which is a combined $200M territory. This includes coordinating the consolidation of actual and budgeted results as well as implementing all global accounting policies and projects. The position has direct supervision over the regional finance teams in the U.S., Mexico and Columbia and works closely with the Global Finance organization to maintain consistency across financial practices.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Manages the NALAN Finance team, including coaching, mentoring and project oversight to develop and optimize team’s performance
• Coordinates and ensures the production of monthly Corporate and Management accounts in accordance with the timetable.
• Consistently reviews and enhances the format and presentation of regional financial data in conjunction with departmental management, to ensure they are accurately, comprehensively and succinctly presented.
• Partners with the Managing Director - Americas region to implement business strategy and optimize financial practices for the NALAN region.
• Partners with the Chief Financial Officer of Colorcon, Inc. to ensure regional goals and practices are aligned with the Global Finance function.
• Manages the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function and provides strategic financial insights to the Managing Director and Regional Leadership Team (RLT).
• Drives the implementation of Global Finance initiatives across the NALAN region.
• Oversees the production of Budgets, Plans etc. for the NALAN region.
• Works with NALAN Regional Leadership Team (RLT) and Global Leadership Team to ensure all financial reporting, expenses, payroll, profit related pay, benefits, bonuses etc., systems and processes are accurately planned, budgeted and maintained.
• Manages working capital assets, with particular emphasis on receivables, payables and inventories, liaising as necessary with operational and commercial management.
• Regularly reviews records, reports, reconciliation checks and procedures to ensure the accurate complete and up to date recording of all accounting data and procedures.
• Responsible for statutory, fiscal and corporate reporting requirements both for local and overseas operating units, ensuring compliance therewith.
• Takes stewardship for the control of foreign currency exposures to ensure that exposures to currency fluctuations are minimized.
• Partners with external auditors as part of their annual financial audit and ensure the audits are completed on time and accurately for the NALAN region. 
• Serves as a member of the Investment Management Committee for the Colorcon Employee’s Pension Plan.
  Maintains and updates Finance policies and procedures as needed.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance required, MBA or CPA preferred.        
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing a Finance organization in a similar industry or environment.
• Experience working in a Global matrixed organization is helpful
• Experience with Oracle suite of products a plus.

Working Location

• This position is a hybrid role based onsite at Colorcon’s Global headquarters in Harleysville, PA.
• Travel: Up to 15% of travel may required; annually.
