Position Overview
Travel Required | Western U.S. (including but not limited to UT, NV, CA, AZ) | Murrieta, CA HQ
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Superintendent to run day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, keep the project on schedule, maintain a clean and safe jobsite, and ensure the work matches the plans and specs. This role requires strong communication, jobsite leadership, and hands-on problem solving. You must be able to take ownership of the site and keep work moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the onsite crew and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely and correctly.
- Build and maintain the project schedule and update two-week look-ahead plans.
- Coordinate materials, equipment deliveries, inspections, and daily work sequencing.
- Enforce jobsite safety requirements and hold subcontractors accountable.
- Review drawings and RFIs; flag conflicts and communicate issues early.
- Document daily job activity and send updates to the Project Manager.
- Run jobsite meetings and track progress through punch list and close-out.
Requirements
- 5 years experience in a Superintendent role required
- 3 years experience in commercial construction projects in the following industries: retail, grocery, open store remodels.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods.
- Ability to read plans and communicate clearly with crews and subs.
- Procore experience preferred (or ability to learn quickly).
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors, bend, kneel, climb, stand for extended periods, use of hand tools, etc.
- Valid CA driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites, dependable transportation require
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Annual Salary : $90k-130k
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8-hour shift
Travel: 100% travel required | Western U.S. (including but not limited to UT, NV, CA, AZ) | Murrieta, CA HQ
