Pay: $58,000 - $65,000 annual salary, generous benefits including 401k matching, 100% employer-paid premiums for medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, holiday pay; $40 cell phone stipend
The Floating/On-Call Manager provides leadership and support to a team of on-call staff who work across multiple MicroCommunity (MC) sites. This position ensures the team is well-prepared to cover shifts, maintain high-quality service delivery, and respond effectively to the needs of residents and staff. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, skilled in trauma-informed supervision, team coordination, and crisis management.

Schedule/ Hours
The position requires the ability to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Tasks may involve prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking, as well as lifting and carrying objects up to 40 lbs. Additional requirements include occasional reaching, bending, crouching, or kneeling, along with manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and technology. Visual and auditory ability to respond to tasks and ensure safety are also essential.
Cleaning Requirements
The position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards. Cleaning tasks may include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces; handling and proper disposal of cleaning supplies and materials; and using cleaning equipment, such as shopvac cleaners as required. Following safety and hygiene protocols to prevent hazards or contamination is essential.

Schedule/ Hours
- 30-35 hrs/wk on site at MC
- 5-10 hrs/wk to be spent on-call and working from home
- Some afternoon and early evening rotations preferred
- Time will be spent in organizational meetings, meeting with external partners and coalitions, meeting with MC residents, etc.
- Provide leadership and supervision to on-call staff assigned to cover shifts across multiple MC sites.
- Develop and maintain schedules for the on-call team, ensuring coverage aligns with site needs.
- Train, mentor, and support team members to deliver trauma-informed, people-centered services.
- Monitor staff performance, provide regular feedback, and ensure accountability to organizational policies.
- Approve timesheets, track shift coverage, and oversee compliance with public health and safety protocols.
- Act as the primary point of contact for on-call staff, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication between on-call staff, site teams, and program leadership.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to address updates, challenges, and professional development.
- Serve as a liaison between on-call staff and site leadership to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and enhance team cohesion.
- Support on-call staff in responding to conflicts or crises at MC sites, providing guidance and de-escalation assistance as needed.
- Document incidents and collaborate with Program and Senior Managers to ensure proper follow-up.
- Assist in managing resident accountability processes in partnership with site teams.
- Track and report metrics related to on-call staff coverage, performance, and outcomes.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of shift activities, incidents, and service delivery.
- Work with program leadership to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Step in to provide direct support at MC sites during critical staffing shortages or emergencies.
- Participate in organizational meetings, trainings, and strategic planning efforts.
- Other duties as assigned to support the on-call team and MC programming.
