Position Overview:We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you will play a critical role in guiding our organization’s strategic direction, ensuring financial stability, and enhancing our programs and services to better serve our veteran community.
Board Member Responsibilities:- Governance: Provide oversight and guidance on the organization’s strategic direction and financial health.
- Fundraising: Actively participate in fundraising efforts, including identifying and securing resources and partnerships.
- Advocacy: Serve as an ambassador for the organization, promoting our mission and programs within the community.
- Program Support: Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services that align with our mission.
- Meetings: Attend and actively participate in monthly board meetings and committee meetings as needed.
- A strong commitment to helping Colorado Veterans find meaningful careers and employment as they transition out of the military.
- Fundraising experience with strong connections to donor corporations in the Colorado area.
- Ability to contribute time, talent, and resources to support the organization’s goals.
- Prior military service or experience working with military organizations is highly desirable but not required.
- Attend monthly board meetings, mostly virtual.
- Participate in major fundraising events and activities.
- Actively engage in outreach and advocacy efforts to promote the organization’s mission.
