Description of Work Unit
The Department of Human Development and Family Studies is one of eight academic programs in the College of Health and Human Sciences. Colorado State University is Colorado's land grant institution and holds the Doctoral/Research University - Extensive classification from the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education. Affiliated with CSU's Marriage and Family Therapy ( MFT Program and the Center for Family and Couple Therapy ( CFCT ) in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, the Child Trauma and Resilience Assessment Center ( CTRAC ) serves as a local, state, and regional child trauma assessment center.

Position Summary
The doctoral-level behavioral health interventionist will deliver manualized, evidence-based psychosocial interventions (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based intervention, interpersonal psychotherapy) with groups of adolescents experiencing or at-risk for mental and/or cardiometabolic health issues in the context of clinical research trials. The behavioral health interventionist will additionally participate in regular didactic training and individual/group clinical supervision. This clinical position may also require assessment of mental health concerns (e.g., depression, self-harm, suicidality, disordered eating behaviors) via empirically supported semi-structured clinical interviews, risk assessment, and risk management intervention delivery.

Position Minimum Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD, or comparable credential)
- Clinical experience with youth, adolescents, and/or families
- Experience delivering manualized interventions and/or group-based interventions
- Experience in pediatric/medical settings (e.g., Academic Medical Center)
- Strong clinical documentation and case conceptualization skills
- Interest in populations at-risk for the development of comorbid mental and physical health concerns
- Prior clinical research experience
- Experience working with youth and families experiencing adverse social determinants of health
- Availability during after-school/evening weekday hours
