This non-student hourly role provides essential technical and administrative support to a research laboratory focused on cell and molecular biology. The position will assist with routine and advanced laboratory procedures—including cell culture, immunoassays, and molecular biology techniques—to support ongoing research projects. Responsibilities include preparing reagents and materials, maintaining laboratory records, completing data entry, and assisting with data organization and basic analysis. The individual in this role will collaborate with the research team to ensure accurate documentation, uphold laboratory safety and quality standards, and help maintain efficient day-to-day lab operations.

Perform immunoassays (e.g., ELISAs) as benchtop techniques to assess cytokine levels in fluids such as plasma or synovial fluid.

Perform molecular techniques such as RNA or DNA extractions to determine differential gene expression in tissues such as synovium or white blood cells.

Assist with data organization and administrative support to the lab such as digitizing or cataloging data and scheduling studies.

- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in a biological science or related field.
