Medical Scheduler

What You’ll Do

• Answer and route incoming calls on a multi-line phone system

• Schedule appointments and update the electronic scheduler

• Pre-register patients and collect necessary information

• Coordinate and document patient referrals

• Work closely with medical assistants and providers to ensure proper scheduling

• Provide exceptional customer service to every patient, every time

• Perform general office tasks such as scanning, filing, and paperwork

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED

• Prior medical office or scheduling experience preferred but not required

• Excellent communication and multitasking skills

• A positive, patient-first attitude

• Ability to stay organized in a busy environment

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
