Role Description Colorado Springs Dermatology Clinic is looking for an experienced clinical professional to lead the day-to-day operations of our Mohs Surgery & Skin Cancer Center.
This is a hands-on management position. We're looking for someone who enjoys leading and developing a clinical team, improving workflow and patient flow, and staying actively involved in surgical care.
This could be a great next step for an experienced Mohs or surgical professional moving into management, or for an established clinical leader who wants to remain connected to patient care.
What You'll Do
· Lead and support a Mohs clinical team of approximately 6-7 employees
· Manage daily staffing, clinical operations, surgical workflow, and patient flow
· Partner closely with our Mohs surgeon
· Coach, develop, and provide performance feedback to clinical staff
· Assist directly with Mohs surgery and reconstructions
· Support patient preparation, local anesthesia, postoperative care, and wound-care education
· Oversee clinical safety, OSHA, CLIA, and infection-control requirements
· Maintain clinical inventory, sterilization processes, and equipment needs
· Coordinate outside referrals and procedures
· Coordinate staffing and operations for our weekly Pueblo satellite clinic
Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate has:
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Mohs surgery, dermatology, surgical assisting, or a comparable procedural/surgical clinical environment
· Previous lead, supervisory, or clinical-management experience
· Strong knowledge of surgical and clinical workflow
· Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
· The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy surgical environment
· EMR experience
Direct Mohs experience is strongly preferred. RN, LPN, CMA/RMA, or comparable clinical training or certification is preferred.
Schedule, Compensation & Benefits
Monday–Thursday, approximately 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Salary: $68,000–$85,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
Benefits include: medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with employer matching, and mileage reimbursement for required business travel.
This position is primarily based in Colorado Springs and requires weekly Thursday travel to our Pueblo satellite clinic. Mileage is reimbursed.
