Chiropractic Assistant Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a professional, dependable, and organized Front Desk Receptionist with chiropractic office experience to join our team. The front desk plays an important role in creating a welcoming patient experience and keeping the office running efficiently. Your main responsibilities will consist of scheduling patients, explaining treatment plans, administrative duties at the front desk, keeping patient information organized, and staying in consistent communication with referring providers and attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Answer phones, return calls, and respond to patient questions
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Check patients in and out and maintain accurate patient information
- Collect payments and assist with insurance-related questions
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and staff
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
- Have a sufficient understanding of therapeutic modalities to assist when needed (you will be trained on therapies).
- Assist with daily administrative and office tasks
- Communicate important information to the chiropractic team
- Help ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently throughout the day
- Handle difficult or sensitive conversations with professionalism and compassion
- Complete additional duties as needed to support the office
Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience working in a chiropractic/medical office.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Physical Requirements: Occasionally lifting and moving equipment, assisting patients with mobility, and performing tasks requiring physical stamina.
- Aptitude: Ability to solve problems and quickly find solutions to maintain smooth flow in patient care during workday.
- Skills: Proficient in the use of therapeutic equipment and modalities. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate and effective patient care. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. ( as needed )
Work Environment
- Time is primarily spent at the front desk, and occasionally assisting with therapies as needed
- Must be willing to interact in a positive manner with people on a consistent basis.
- Must be able to spend your work hours sitting for 3-4 hours at a time

Friday: 9:00am-1:00pm and 2:30pm-5:30pm
