Colorado Sound Studios is seeking a versatile professional with experience in office administration, scheduling, sales and customer service to fill the studio coordinator position. The studio coordinator reports to the owner and provides day-to-day support to artists and engineers.
The ideal candidate has a strong business background with experience in arts-related industries. The candidate should be able to perform a wide range of administrative functions in a timely manner. Ability to multi-task and work independently is essential. Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills are required.
Responsibilities Include
- Daily opening and closing procedures, prepare studios for day’s activities
- Scheduling and confirming sessions
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Answer telephone calls and emails, respond to questions, and direct communications to appropriate parties as necessary
- Provide administrative and clerical support to engineers and management
- Maintain relationships and correspondence with clients
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure the timely completion of work
- Supervise intern staff in cooperation with management
- Assist in facilitating special events
- Manage and order office and studio supplies
Qualifications
- Punctual and reliable; ability to work without direct supervision
- Strong customer service and problem solving skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
- Possess a high level of accuracy and organizational skills
- Preferably 2 years of experience in a front office environment
- Strong general computer skills (Mac)
- Dynamic interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a highly visible, fast paced environment; managing multiple priorities
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to discretely handle confidential material
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Previous front desk/customer service experience
- Knowledge of music recording and mastering process
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, good problem solving ability
- Strong supervisory skills
- Previous experience with Quickbooks for Mac
- Previous experience with Wordpress
- Available to work Monday through Friday 9am-5pm

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
