Qualifications:
Minimum USSF C License
Background Check & Safe Sport Certification
5 Years of coaching at competitive youth level or higher
Desire to develop Coaches within the Club’s mission statement: “Honor, Passion, Excellence”
Strong communication skills
Motivate and Inspire Coaches, Parents & Players
Strong Organizational skills
Work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere
Responsibilities:
Promote club philosophy “Honor, Passion, Excellence”
Organize, supervise and manage coaching staff
Organizational Leadership: short- & long-term training planning & strategy development
Communicate with the Coaching staff, Sr Staff Coaches, Keeper Coaches and most importantly parents and players
Create, develop and provide quality coaching education opportunities for the club’s coaches
Provide training guidelines for teams and coaches on a regular basis.
Assist and participate in managing tryouts & team formations
Establish and maintain positive relationships with CSA Club members in the greater soccer community
Full description
United SC, established in 1986, has a vibrant history in the region. The club has experienced 40% growth in the past 5 years. 400 players and approximately 30 teams in the u9 thru u19 age groups, with teams participating in every CSA division including the state’s top level Premier Leagues. The Head of Youth Developments primary purpose at United SC will be to coach two 7v7 teams and will be responsible for coaching and developing our younger age group coaches. Inspiring, motivating and working with players when required and managing parents is instrumental. The ability to recognize and solve problems within the assigned area of responsibilities and using sound decision-making skills will be required. Management and organizational skills that will make soccer fun enjoyable and impactful is part of the club’s culture.
Primary work location is at: Loveland Sports Park, 950 N. Boyd Lake Avenue, Loveland, CO 80537
Coaching gear and training equipment will be provided by United SC. No other benefits, visas, travel/commute allowances, or moving expenses are available. Salary will be dependent on previous coaching experience and license(s).
