At Mines, the Associate Director of Residence Life for Residential Education manages, coordinates, and provides leadership for all programs related to Residence Life, student development, and residential education efforts.
In this exciting and dynamic role, you will implement the strategic vision and direction for student development programs in all residential communities, meeting the needs of the residents who live within them. You will support our mission by making recommendations on Residence Life-related policies, procedures, and works side by side in coordination with the Associate Director of Residence Life for Facilities and Operations. You’ll serve as a leader within the Division of Student Life, and at Mines as an active member of various committees and initiatives on campus. This position has the authority to act, make decisions, and interpret policy as the Director of Residence Life in the Director’s absence from campus. Minimum Qualifi
- cationsMaster’s degree in college student personnel, higher education administration, or related field from an accredited four-year institution of higher ed
- ucationAt least four years of progressively responsible professional experience within a comprehensive residence life system in a higher education s

- staff.Experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and proc
- edures.Experience using housing software systems as an operator and as a manager. Knowledge of StarRez, eRezLife, Maxient, Canvas, and Workday are particularly h
